The City of Roswell is excited to be underway with Ace Sand Phase I, the first project of its much-anticipated River Parks Master Plan.

The City will host a groundbreaking ceremony at the construction site. We cordially invite members of the media, community members, and all interested parties to join us for this project kick-off.

Parking Details

Parking available at 593 Riverside Road, in the unpaved parking lot, which is directly across the street from the entrance for the Taimen River subdivision.

Ace Sand Phase I Project

This groundbreaking ceremony marks a significant milestone in the activation of Roswell’s River Parks Master Plan, which establishes a vision for approximately 3.3 miles of waterfront public spaces along the northern bank of the Chattahoochee River, including six city-owned facilities. Ace Sand Phase I is the first project to receive design funding and to start construction. The project (which derives its name from the Ace Sand Company that previously occupied the site) features a Fitness Loop Trail, offering a multi-use trail, boardwalk, pedestrian trails, and a series of adult fitness facilities.
