The City of Roswell’s Water Utility Division will give citizens an opportunity to explore the process behind making safe drinking water at the annual Drinking Water Festival
The Drinking Water Festival is a great way to learn more about how Roswell maintains a safe and sustainable supply of drinking water to protect the community's health and vitality.
Guests will be able to tour the water plant and learn more about the source of drinking water and how it is treated, as well as learn about water conservation, and sign up for the AquaHawk water monitoring system.
Participants can enjoy free snacks and beverages, children's activities, giveaways, and more.

This event kicks off the National Drinking Water Week, May 7-13, 2023. Each year the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and other organizations, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), sponsor this week to provide a unique opportunity for water professionals and the communities they serve to come together to recognize the vital role water plays in daily lives, discover water conservation practices and ways to protect our source waters from pollution.
