Great Southeast Pollinator Census
The Great Southeast Pollinator census is a community science project created by The University of Georgia. On August 18th and 19th you are encouraged to get outside and, using the Pollinator Counting Resources (provided by UGA Extension), count how many pollinators you see in an area. This data will then be used by The University of Georgia to help with pollinator conservation efforts.

Pollinator Census in Roswell
Keep Roswell Beautiful and The City of Roswell are joining UGA Extension to count pollinators, and we want you to come too! On August 19th from 10am-12pm at Barrington Hall, you can come complete the census, which takes about 15 minutes. We will provide the supplies. We just need you ready to count!
Event Participation
The Pollinator Census is a great outdoor activity for adults and children of all ages. Participants will also get to enjoy the beautiful gardens of historic Barrington Hall, while providing important data for pollinator conservation. This is a free event and registration is not required. Please bring comfortable walking shoes and water.
Barrington Hall
Barrington Hall sits on seven acres in downtown Historic Roswell. In the 1830s, Barrington Hall’s builder, Barrington King, and his father, Roswell King, co-founded the colony which became Roswell. On your visit to Barrington Hall you will be inspired by generations of the King family, who preserved Barrington Hall for more than 160 years.
Admission to the grounds and Historic House Museum are FREE.
