Computer Museum of America (CMoA) is the largest museum of computing history in the Eastern US. CMoA’s mission is to preserve the stories and artifacts from the digital age while educating and inspiring visitors of all ages and backgrounds. Exhibits include a STEAM timeline of computer history showing technology milestones in the context of transportation, pop culture, and more; a Tribute to Apollo with an almost full-scale replica of the lunar module, an Apollo Guidance Computer, and DSKY; and one of the world’s largest collections of Cray supercomputers. An Enigma machine, the BYTE Magazine wall, Computers in the Movies, and the Nook Look round out the current exhibits. Visitors can play in the Retro Game Corner and do other activities in the Rotunda. School field trips and other groups may be scheduled on days the museum is not open, and over 10,000 square feet of event space is available to host a variety of business or social events. Visit the webpage for more information, upcoming events, and current hours.
