River Run for Hope

The River Run for Hope has been hosting a 5K/10K race in Roswell since 2009. The race begins at St. Andrew Catholic Church right next to Riverside Park, and runs along the beautiful Chattahoochee River. Both the 5K and 10K courses are flat except for one hill on the 10K route, and both are USATF-certified (Peachtree qualifiers.) The race shirts given to all participants are renowned for their super-soft feel and attractive logo. And the authentic Ghanaian kente cloth stoles given to all age group winners are coveted as a truly unique race award. All proceeds from the event benefit the poor in Ghana, Africa, bringing much-needed educational and medical supplies and basic necessities to rural villages.
