Nancy Jackson’s story is an amazing true story of a woman who gave up her family and everything she knew to fight for her freedom.
At the age of 22 this courageous woman risked her life to stand up for her rights and to set a precedent that created a path for other enslaved people to become free. Join us for an in-depth look at the circumstances of her life and see documents that show us the course of events and how she thrived into the 20th century.
