Joseph McGill Jr. is the History and Culture Coordinator for Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina, and the founder of the Slave Dwelling Project. Herb Frazier is a journalist and the special project editor at the Charleston City Paper and author on several books and articles on black culture, the legacy of slavery, and racial healing.
