The New Vintage is the collaborative duo between JT Alessi and Matthew Smith. Featuring tight harmonies and an eclectic song list, they have performed in dozens of venues around the Atlanta area since forming in 2013.

The music of Paul Simon had a seismic impact on both JT and Matthew. JT was always drawn toward the solo side of Paul’s career, while Matthew leaned more toward Simon and Garfunkel’s short but brilliant output. So it was pretty much a no-brainer, learning dozens of songs from both lists to compile a comprehensive look at one of the most essential artists of the last 60 years. They present this music with reverence to the original source material.
