Dot Padgett, Author of Jimmy Carter: Elected President with Pocket Change & Peanuts will speak at the Roswell Library.
Local author and former U.S. State Department official Dorothy “Dot” Padgett will speak and sign copies of her book Jimmy Carter: Elected President with Pocket Change and Peanuts at the Roswell Library.
Padgett, who lives in historic downtown Douglasville, organized the Carter presidential campaign effort known as the Peanut Brigade. Her book chronicles Carter’s path from a peanut farm in rural Georgia to the White House.

There is dedicated library parking in the back of the library across the street from the Cultural Arts Center. Please note that the parking is sometimes used by the general public when there is a special event going on in the area, so at times, even the library lot is full.
