Native American Culture of the Southeast

Learn about the history and culture of Southeastern Native Americans with Jim Sawgrass, who is of Creek descent. Mr. Sawgrass focuses on material culture. He demonstrates tools, weapons, and implements, and talks about the dwellings created here and the clothing that was worn. You will begin to understand how things changed over time from before the arrival of Europeans, to the era of trading, and then the arrival of settlers.
