Multi-slam champion Ashlee Haze will lead a workshop that focuses on elements of poetry performance and the concepts of poetry slam ahead of a public slam competition.
Attendees will learn how to better captivate audiences using the voice as an instrument and basic slam choreography as well as learning the rules and culture of poetry slam. Attendees are encouraged to bring an existing poem to workshop. Writing materials will be provided.
