The New Quintet

Honoring the songs and styles that have shaped traditional folk music, ragtime, old-time, and early country, The New Quintet features a group of dynamic young artists, including storyteller and musicologist Nicholas Edward Williams (Guitar, Vocals), Emma Dubose (Fiddle, Vocals), Jade Watts (Upright Bass, Vocals), Gordon Inman (Clarinet) and Cody Ray (Guitar, Lap Steel). The ensemble’s big harmonies, intricate melodies, and lush textures rain upon both original and reimagined traditional material.
