Dan Foster and Paula Greene Jones – FOSTER GREENE — share a mutual love of great melodies and captivating stories in music.   Their performances illustrate the American experience with a variety of original tales & well-known folk favorites.

Dan – guitarist, songwriter & bandleader – has played, written & sung with cover bands & original groups such as “High Cotton” and “Minimum Balance”.  His influences include John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan, and one can hear influences of such artists in his thoughtful songwriting. His music is driven by events in his life that can only be explained in a spiritual sense.

Paula – vocalist, songwriter, and percussionist – was lead vocalist in the Atlanta party band, “Powerplay” for 20 years. She has co-written and produced songs with writing partner John Ragin since the 90’s. She has her own entertainment business, “The Versatile Vocalist”, singing for senior communities several times a week.  Her inspirations are varied range from Billy Joel and Elton John to Dwight Yoakum and Merle Haggard.

Dan and Paula combine their love of Americana, folk, and country music, and their many years of performing and writing experience to bring you delightful introspective stories of life, love, and loss.  Their shows are a mix of spot-on renditions of timeless classics & original music, delivered with pleasing harmony & sincere emotion.
