Established in 2012, Family Promise of North Fulton and Dekalb (FPNFD) serves low-income families with children who have suffered a financial crisis and now are experiencing homelessness. Our three-program approach includes prevention, treatment, and stabilization, with the ultimate objective to empower these families to regain and maintain independent housing. Family Promise serves families throughout the North Fulton and Dekalb county areas within Georgia.

Our five-person staff is thankful for our over 1,000 volunteers who contribute over 1,200 volunteer hours per year to help these families.

Our programs:

Emergency Response Program Homelessness prevention or shelter referral services for families on the brink of or currently experiencing homelessness.
Prevention, for qualified families, provides a one-month rent supplementation, eviction prevention payment, or a one-week motel to bridge a housing gap.
Shelter consultation and referrals are provided to any person asking for help that does not qualify for prevention funding or our Rotational Shelter program.

Rotational Shelter Program A one-week rotation between 13 faith-based congregations that provide shelter and meals while FPNFD provides intense case management services.
